Our engagement model for cloud acceleration
Kollab delivers an end-to-end cloud success methodology through platform-certified professional services. Our cloud acceleration practice begins with Cloud Foundation, a ground-up development and formation of cloud competency and cloud-first thinking across business and technical leadership teams of enterprise customers. Through our Day 0 service, we effectively lay the groundwork for a Cloud First Policy that opens up a modern approach to how line of business applications operate at scale in the cloud.
Customers that are ready to get started in their cloud journey sign up for our Day 1 offerings, Cloud Billing and Cloud Deploy. As an authorized solutions provider, Kollab is able to resell cloud consumptions with GCP and AWS in local currency. Alongside provisions for payment terms and tax invoices/receipts, we include cloud console activation and configuration, as well as identity and access management setup and provisioning to enable customers to become cloud ready on Day 1.
Cloud Deploy is our professional services coverage for service delivery in the cloud. This includes drawing up a solution architecture and design to act as the technical blueprint of the deployment. Enterprise customers also pursue our deployment services for us to perform the cloud implementation either as a pilot project or on a migration factory engagement with the goal of migrating everything from the data center to the cloud.
Kollab provides Day 2 services for customers that are already running production workloads in the cloud. Cloud Optimize is availed by large-scale cloud customers that require services around continuous optimization. This highly specialized practice includes a top-down audit against cloud best practices and introduces a cost awareness mentality to: (1) run only the services that are needed; (2) reduce and right-size underutilized services to what's adequate; and (3) reuse and rationalize common services to eliminate unnecessary costs.
Our Cloud Optimize services also recommends long-term commitment options for core applications that are intended to run uninterrupted for more than a year to drive costs down. Depending on the requirements of customers, Kollab also provides direct intervention following a cloud optimization audit. This includes executing the optimization recommendations for and in behalf of the customer, and performing continuing audit and intervention services on a retainer agreement.
Finally, our Cloud Manage coverage enables customers to fully outsource the day-to-day administration and management of their infrastructure in the cloud. The outsourced engagement includes aggressive service level commitments to meet the most demanding service availability and uptime requirements of enterprise applications in the cloud. SLA-backed request fulfillment, incident management, and change and release management support are standard to our Cloud Manage contracts.
We also include automated tools to monitor service uptime 24/7 through active system monitoring for both AWS and GCP, and automated service ticketing with Freshdesk®, a leading IT service management platform, to ensure our SLA commitments are met. A cloud operations review is provided on a monthly basis to report on our service performance. Kollab provides a service guarantee clause that commits immediate reduction to the service fees for the month, should our service uptime fall below the agreed SLA.
